Trwbador are a bi-lingual ‘foltronica’ duo from Carmarthen, South Wales. However, far from mimicking the old roots of the welsh town, here is something fresh and new to set your aural ear buds a’ tingling.
The upcoming EP ‘It snowed a lot this year,’ offers an interesting sound, it’s mix of complex layers of beats and organic acoustics compliments the light lyrics sung by female lead Angharad Van Rijswijk.
‘The Shapes (La La La)’ has all the makings of a minimalistic indie pop hit. Whereas the title track of the EP ‘It Snowed A Lot This Year’ provides the listener with an overall different, more complex mood, different from the light, jangly ‘Safbwynt’ and the above mentioned track. All however are a worthy comparison to the artist Melanie Valera.
The duo have already been taken note of by the likes of BBC 6 Music, and even on the Adam Waltons show who labelled them as “Cosmopolitan Electronic Aceness.” There is much hope in store, for this ‘folktronica’ duo! - Anna Sinfield, Owlet Music Promotions.

Just an update about everything really…….
We’re half way through finishing our first E.P!!! Hopefully we will release this by the end of the Summer, maybe August.
After leaking one song onto myspace early we have already had radio play form Adam Walton at BBC Radio Wales, Huw Stevens and Magi Dod on C2 and been featured on the C2 website home page!!! Thanks to every one involved for this opportunity.
Things are kicking off, let’s hope everyone likes the E.P when it’s done!!
